Secure near real-time system status

WaterEye uses system insturmentation to monitor the water quality and performance of the water system. Data is collection time vary from site to site, but data is collected from on-site instrumentation approximately every 5 to 15 minutes. This data is then sent via the Internet to our central database. Again, the frequency at which data is sent to our database varies from site to site depending on client specifications, but can happen as often as every few minutes.

Because WaterEye pushes the data to the WaterEye server, there is never a worry of a backwards connection the system site.

The Report Generator page allows you to create detailed reports for viewing or download. The first step is to select the sensors to be included. Then, select the frequency of data points. You can add a graph or a daily average to your report but they are only supported if you chose Excel as your format. Finally, enter the dates, which you would like to see data between. Once you are ready, click Create Report to see it. Reports can capture as much or as little data as you want. Historical data is kept from the moment you turn your WaterEye system on.

WaterEye also creates automatic montly reports such as NTU and CT reports which can be downloaded and submitted to the appropriate state agencies. If custom reports are required for your state we will work with you to create the report you need.

The Custom Graph page allows you to create graphs of your operational data. The first step is to select the sensors to be included. Then, chose between the style of lines or dots, and whether you want to graph data while the system is off-line. Finally, enter the dates, which you would like to see data between. Once you are ready, click Create Graph to see it.

The Critical Event Handler is a system that was developed from the need of high precision monitoring during specific events. These events might last only seconds, but they still need to be recorded and uploaded to the data servers. With this system, you can collect detailed information about critical events before and after they occur with adjustable sensitivity. Applications include: Backwash analysis, bad valve handling (surge/water hammer conditions), permeate backpressure conditions, etc.

No Reverse Connection = 100 % Security

WaterEye remote monitoring, by design, eliminates security risks to control systems. WaterEye runs standalone - separately and complementary to plant HMI or DCS systems. WaterEye client software contains no control capability.

Push Technology = Security

Data transmission from your instruments and controls is one way ONLY using ‘push’ technology to a database remote from your operating system – the database is unable to communicate back to your operating system offering unparalleled system security.

System Alerts, Status & Reporting

Autodialers are a thing of the past. WaterEye’s alarm notification system can communicate via text messaging, e-mail or pagers. In-depth system status data is always available so you know when and what caused an alarm within minutes of the alarm itself. Monthly reporting can be done at the click of a button by logging into your secure website and choosing the report function.
